Learning Support
If you tell a Student Adviser or any member of staff that you have a learning difficulty or disability, or you feel that you may need assistance with your learning, a member of the Learning Support team will be available at your interview. You are also welcome to bring along an advocate, someone you feel comfortable with and has your best interests in mind, like a parent/carer.
Learning Support is provided by a team of specialists in sensory impairments, mental health, study support, learning difficulties, disabilities, medical care and dyslexia. Together, they can create a support package that is right for your individual needs. In addition, in-class support is made available from the Care and Learning Support Assistants, along with access to adaptive equipment and materials.
