KCC Celebrate Excellence
73 KCC students received Celebration of Excellence Awards from the Mayor of Knowsley
The Mayor of Knowsley, Councillor Joan Quilliam, congratulated the 73 Knowsley Community College students on the exemplary progress the students had made through demonstrating outstanding effort and motivation, ability to set and achieve targets, solve problems and achieve excellent attendace and punctuality
The students recieved their awards at the College's annual Celebration of Excellence event. In her speech, the Mayor emphasised that the students were a credit to Knowsley and that their skills and qualities were those sought and valued by employers
Frank Gill, Principal at Knowsley Community College commended the students on their awards, 'Everyone at the college is proud of the students' progress and effort. They are a credit to themseleves and the college.'
A-level student, Jody Gallagher, said 'I really enjoy college, the staff always give very good support if I need help. I was very pleased to get my award and to meet the Mayor.'
